Who uses RowFax?
RowFax is used by music industry professionals. Publishing companies, songwriters, label executives and others subscribe to the weekly publication to get access to the most up-to-date recording project listings available anywhere. Producers, artists, A&R execs and labels use the pitch sheet to get the word out when they are seeking outside material for a recording project. While most of the project listings are Country-based, we also feature bluegrass, gospel, Christian, rock, pop or other genres when available.
How often will I receive RowFax?
As a subscribed member, you will receive an email on Wednesday afternoon (48 times a year) notifying you that your Latest Listings are ready to access on RowFax.com. We close during Thanksgiving week and several weeks in December. Remember that you have 24/7 access to RowFax.com with your login information. Once logged in, you are able to use your subscriber login and password to access which artists are currently looking for material and details about their project, creative team and the kinds of songs they’re wanting to hear.
Is it possible to purchase less than one year subscriptions of RowFax?
RowFax is currently only available in one-year or discounted two-year options.
Is contact information included?
RowFax is for professional use only, and oftentimes contact information is not included in listings. Many independent or smaller label projects do include full contact info, but the larger labels do not. As a subscribed member, you have inside information about who is looking for material but it will still be up to you to use your own resources and contacts to gain song pitching access and permission to submit your material.
Can I share my password?
RowFax transmissions, e-mail and online passwords, are intended for the strict sole use of actively subscribed members. Sharing such online property is expressly forbidden. RowFax reserves the right to cancel subscribed member accounts found to be in violation of this policy, without refund.
Can I receive a refund?
If you accidentally purchased RowFax, we can issue a refund within 3 days of purchase. We DO NOT offer refunds past the 3 day grace period.
I am a new subscriber, when will I receive login instructions?
Thanks for becoming a RowFax member! Within 1-2 business days you will receive an email from musicrow@musicrow.com with your login information. We recommend immediately resetting your password by clicking “My Profile,” scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your choice of new password in the two spaces provided and click “Update Profile.” Remember that you have 24/7 access to Music News and Latest Listings on RowFax.com with your login information. Your first RowFax email can be expected the following Wednesday afternoon.
I am having trouble logging in… what can I do?
From RowFax.com, click “Log In” near the top of the page. Your username is one of two options, your name: First_Last or your email address. Be sure you are at the correct website. As a RowFax subscriber you receive our MusicRow daily news emails complimentary, but for complete access to MusicRow.com you must have a separate MusicRow news subscription. Project listings are exclusively available at RowFax.com. In case you have forgotten your password, click “Lost Password” on the log in page and enter your email address or username. You will be emailed a confirmation link. Please confirm you wish to re-set your password. A second email provides you a new password. Return to RowFax.com and use the new password to login. We recommend immediately resetting your password by clicking “My Profile,” scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your choice of new password in the two spaces provided and click “Update Profile.”
I did not receive my weekly RowFax email. Why is this?
Whether you are a new member or have been a member for years, please add “musicrow@musicrow.com” to your email address book. This will almost always solve the issue. Remember that even without this email, you have 24/7 access to Music News and Latest Listings with your login information on our RowFax.com. Sharing email transmissions and passwords opens your account up to vulnerability, please do not allow others to access your account or emails.
If I am working on a recording project, how can I submit a project listing?
To reach professional RowFax subscribers, place your free listing by emailing the following information to rowfax@musicrow.com.
