Big Loud Mountain, Tree Vibez Music Sign Cameron Montgomery
Big Loud Mountain and Tree Vibez Music, a partnership between Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, songwriter Craig Wiseman and more, have signed songwriter and producer Cameron Montgomery.
Montgomery, a Scottsdale, Arizona native, was mentored by producer Dr. Luke (Katy Perry, Rihanna), and was part of studio teams behind the singles “Sugar” (Maroon 5) and “Only” (Nikki Minaj ft. Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown).
He is managed by Advanced Alternative Media (AAM), and co-produced Big Machine Label Group artist Ryan Follese‘s self-titled EP. He also co-wrote Follese’s singles “Float Your Boat” and “Put A Label On It.”
Round Hill Music Signs Administration Deal With SHEL, Moraine Music Group
Round Hill Music has signed SHEL & Moraine Music Group to a worldwide administration agreement.
The indie/folk band from Fort Collins, Colorado, is comprised of four sisters – Sarah, Hannah, Eva, and Liza Holbrook, whose names form the acronym SHEL. Their sound is filled with infectious rhythms and hypnotic vocals, which has led to their music being used in numerous TV shows, films, soundtracks and commercials.
Currently, SHEL’s music is airing in the Toys ‘R Us holiday commercial, a TBS Search Party promo and the snowboarding film, The Fourth Phase. They also have a newly released Holiday EP, Winter Fairyland.
Disney Music Publishing Signs Chris Lindsey
Chris Lindsey, a songwriter and producer responsible for hits such as Lonestar’s “Amazed” and Martina McBride’s “This One’s For the Girls,” has inked an exclusive worldwide agreement with Disney Music Publishing.
Other artists who have recorded Lindsey’s songs include Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Lee Brice, The Civil Wars, Adam Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Kellie Pickler, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Sara Evans, and more.
Mike Fiorentino Signs With Spirit/Fluid
Mike Fiorentino has signed a publishing deal with Spirit/Fluid, the Nashville-based joint venture between Spirit Music Group and Frank Rogers’ Fluid Music Revolution.
Since moving to Nashville in 2007, Fiorentino has penned and arranged numerous songs for Hasbro for use in toys, commercials, and network television, founded an independent record label/production team with longtime friend Kyle Cook, guitarist of Matchbox 20, and collaborated with production team Phivestarr writing for artists like Bubba Sparxxx and Colt Ford. He also topped the iTunes chart with “Wasted Love,” performed by The Voice Season 7 runner-up, Matt McAndrew, which also debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Air Hawg Music Publishing, Sea Gayle Team To Sign Dave Turnbull
Air Hawg Music Publishing, a newly-launched publishing company led by Kelley Lovelace, has signed songwriter Dave Turnbull as its first writer, in conjunction with Sea Gayle Music.
Turnbull achieved a Triple Play Award from the CMA for his 2012 hits Kenny Chesney’s “The Boys of Fall,” Brad Paisley’s “Anything Like Me” and “Old Alabama” featuring Alabama. He has also had hits with artists including Montgomery Gentry, Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins and Craig Campbell’s charting single, “Outskirts Of Heaven.”
Dan Hodges Music Signs Jason Wilkes
Dan Hodges Music LLC has signed Jason Wilkes to an exclusive songwriting deal. Wilkes, a Georgia native, is a former member of Christian bands Disciple and High Flight Society.
DHM launched in 2008, and is a publisher on previous ASCAP Song of the Year “Good Directions,” recent Kelsea Ballerini chart-topper “Dibs,” and current releases on Keith Urban, Reba and Faith Hill.
