NaSHOF Prepares 2015 Inductees

The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Foundation will host a press conference to announce this year’s inductees on Thursday, July 16 at 10:00 am CT. The event is not open to the public.

The induction dinner will be held Oct. 11 at the Music City Center in Nashville. It will be the 45th anniversary event. The gala evening will also host NSAI’s top song honors.

The 2015 SESAC Nashville Music Awards will kick off CMA week on Sunday, Nov. 1 at the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum.

The invitation-only event will honor the most popular songs of 2015 with special awards being presented to the Songwriter of the Year, Song of the Year and Publisher of the Year. The awards show will also showcase performances by many hit songwriters and performers.

BMI will introduce six top executives from the worlds of TV, film, and advertising to Nashville in a unique way in August when it hosts Sync THIS! Aug. 11-12.

The invitation-only event will provide a creative setting for artists and tastemakers from the Nashville community to foster relationships with music supervisors at the top of their fields and will feature an informative panel, special performances, and private dinners at two new Music City restaurants.

Sync THIS! is being presented by BMI, City National Bank, Downtown Music Publishing, Warner Chappell Production Music and Capitol CMG to create new opportunities for sync revenue for local songwriters and music publishers.

Capitol CMG Publishing Adds Lindsay Gum

Capitol CMG Publishing has hired Lindsay Gum as Creative Manager. While she will have a distinct focus on the country market, she will also bring creative support to the Christian market. She will report to Capitol CMG Publishing’s VP of Creative, Jimi Williams.

She most recently worked at NSAI and, prior to that, Blacktop Music. She has seven years of experience working with songwriters, catalog development, music companies, and events.
