Nelly Joy Joins Warner/Chappell Nashville Roster
Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and producer Nelly Joy has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Warner/Chappell Nashville.
Joy’s songs have been recorded by Kelly Clarkson, Big & Rich, Colbie Caillat, Jesse & Joy, The Mowglis, Rachel Wammack, and Tegan Marie. Most recently Joy was nominated for Song of the Year at the Latin Grammys for “Ecos De Amor” by Jesse & Joy, which has over 300 million streams worldwide.
Joy co-wrote ten songs on the JaneDear Girls’ first album that debuted at 10 on the Billboard Top Country Charts in 2011. She also has a CMT nomination, two ACM nominations, and has had songs featured on ABC’s GCB, NBC’s The Chase, The Today Show, CNBC and Bunheads. She also just received vocal engineering/production credit on “12 Days of Christmas” by Colbie Caillat featuring Aloe Blacc on the movie A Bad Mom’s Christmas.
ole Inks 360 Deal With Singer-Songwriter Austin Jenckes
ole has inked a worldwide 360 deal with Nashville singer-songwriter Austin Jenckes. The deal includes exclusive publishing and recording rights and exclusive admin of properties on YouTube.
Duvall, Washington native Jenckes relocated to Nashville in 2012 and has penned songs including Lee Brice’s “American Nights,” and the track “Same Beer Different Day” from Jenckes’ own upcoming album.
A talented songwriter his credits include, “American Nights,” from the forthcoming self-titled Lee Brice album. Jenckes also recently released the song “Same Beer Different Day” from his upcoming album and plans for extensive touring throughout the coming year.
John Caldwell Signs With Big Deal Music Group, Brett Beavers
Songwriter, producer and engineer John Caldwell has signed a publishing agreement with Big Deal Music Group and songwriter/producer Brett Beavers in a joint venture deal.
Caldwell’s writing credits include songs on projects by Gretchen Wilson, Keb’ Mo’, and Aaron Watson, among others. He has engineered projects for Merle Haggard, The SteelDrivers, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, Edie Brickell, and more.
Ryan Weaver Signs With NVRDUL Management
Ryan Weaver has signed with NVRDUL Management for representation. In October 2017, Weaver was the first artist to be signed to the record label recently launched by Professional Bull Riders CEO, Sean Gleason, PBR Music, and publishing company, Down in the Well. Weaver’s new EP Celebrate America was recorded especially for the PBR. Releasing the album at the 2017 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas this past November, Weaver performed in the slot held last year by Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.
Savannah Harmon Signs With Briley Media Group
Savannah Harmon has inked a management deal with Briley Media Group, LLC and is readying her new project, which will be released near the end of the year.
