Who Uses RowFax?

RowFax is used by music industry professionals. Publishing companies, songwriters, label executives and others subscribe to the weekly publication to get access to the most up to date recording project listings available anywhere. Producers, artists, A&R execs and labels use the pitch sheet to get the word out when they are seeking outside material for a recording project. While most of the project listings are Country-based, we also feature Bluegrass, Gospel, Christian, Rock, Pop and other genres as well.

How often will I receive RowFax?

As a member, each Thursday afternoon you will receive an email letting you know that the RowFax is ready. A link on the email will take you to the RowFax home page, where you can login with your subscriber login and password. Artists looking for material with details about their project, creative team and the kinds of songs they’re wanting to hear. Get weekly issues, 48 times a year. We close during Thanksgiving week and several weeks in December.

I am having trouble logging in… what can I do?

From the RowFax home page, click “Log In” near the top of the page. Your username is First_Last. In case you have forgotten your password, you can click “Lost Password.” Enter in your email address or username, and then you will receive an email with a confirmation link. Click on the link to confirm that you’d like to re-set your password. Then, you will receive a second email with your new password. Return to RowFax.com and use the new password to login.

I am a new subscriber, when will I receive login instructions?

Thanks for joining RowFax! Within 1-2 days you will receive an email from our directory with login information. You will receive your first RowFax on the next Thursday afternoon. If you need access right away, please email RowFax@MusicRow.com.

I did not receive my weekly RowFax email. Why is this?

Whether you are a new member or have been a member for years, please add “musicrow@musicrow.com” to your email address book. This will almost always solve the issue. Remember that you have 24/7 access to the Contact Directory, Music News and Latest Listings on our website.

What is the RowFax Policy?
Respect Intellectual Property. Sharing your subscription with others is prohibited. RowFax is for professional use only and does not guarantee song pitching access. It is up to the subscriber to use their own resources and contacts to submit material. RowFax is intended for information only and is not responsible for business transactions or misadventures resulting from use of this information. RowFax never gets involved in the process of pitching, reviewing, listening to or owning songs. RowFax listing descriptions do not necessarily reflect the opinions of RowFax and/or MusicRow Communications, LLC.

Is contact information included?

RowFax is for professional use only, and oftentimes contact information is not included. Many of independent or smaller label projects do include full contact info, but the larger labels do not. As a subscriber you will have inside information about who is looking for material, but it will still be up to you to gain song pitching access and permission.
