Nominees Revealed For 31st Annual MusicRow Awards

MusicRow is pleased to announce the nominees for the 31st Annual MusicRow Awards, Nashville’s longest-running and now newly expanded industry trade publication honors.

Subscribed members of MusicRow can vote until Tuesday, May 21 at 5 p.m. CT. The 2019 MusicRow Awards will be presented during an invitation-only event on Wednesday, June 26. To receive a ballot and invitation for balcony seating at the MusicRow Awards, become a MusicRow subscriber here.

Artist Development, Publishing Company King Song Signs Andy Austin

Andy Austin has entered into an exclusive artist development and publishing agreement with King Song. A native of Kannapolis, North Carolina, Austin moved to Nashville in March of 2018. Outside of music, Andy is a professional hunting guide in North Dakota for the renowned outfitter Rolling Plains Adventures.

Austin is the first signing to King Song, an artist development and publishing company founded by FrontMan Entertainment, ROAR and Whiskey Jam.

 

Provident Label Group Signs Elle Limebear To Roster

Sony’s Provident Label Group has signed Elle Limebear to its roster. The Brighton, UK, native has released five songs digitally, garnering more than three million streams. Last year, she was featured on one sonic society‘s track “Love Song.”

Limebear, the daughter of Delirious? front man Martin Smith, has long held a role of worship leader and youth pastor in the UK. She began 2019 touring with Matt Maher on the Roadshow and just finished opening for Francesca Battistelli. In August she will be on the road with her dad, Martin Smith and then finish out 2019 on tour with I AM THEY.

 

Daniel Tashian Inks Management Deal

Daniel Tashian, known for his award-winning work on Kacey Musgraves’ album Golden Hour, has signed with Los Angeles-based producer-management firm McDonough Management Inc. Run by Frank McDonough, the company represents producers, engineers, and mixers.

Tashian, who is also aligned with Nashville-based Big Yellow Dog Music, joins McDonough’s roster of producers such as John Fields (Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, P!nk), Joe Barresi (Weezer, Sheryl Crow), Mike Clink (Guns N’ Roses, Mötley Crüe), and more.

Tashian is also known for his work on Lucie Silvas’ E.G.O., folk-pop sister duo Lily & Madeleine’s Canterbury Girls, and Tenille Townes’ debut EP. He is also the lead singer of indie pop-rock band The Silver Seas, and he recently completed the children’s album I Love Rainy Days.
