Artist Jake Rose Signs With Sony/ATV

Artist Jake Rose welcomed Sony/ATV to his already solid team including Rezonant Music Publishing, CAA, Starts With Music, and LP Creative Management.

Rose has spent this year writing songs, and connecting with the fans on the road opening shows for Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Billy Currington, Florida Georgia Line, Devin Dawson, Russell Dickerson and LOCASH to name a few. He’s gearing up for a West Coast Tour with Eli Young Band starting November 2018.

The multi-talented artist is currently making his debut solo record with producers Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, etc.) and Kevin Kadish (“All About That Bass”). His first single “Sleeves,” co-written with Craig Wiseman, debuted on the Highway and CMT.

Hit songwriter Jesse Lee has entered into an exclusive worldwide agreement with Disney Music Group, it was announced by Mio Vukovic, SVP A&R/Head Of Creative.

Voted as MusicRow Magazine’s “Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year” in 2017, Jesse has enjoyed chart topping singles with Kelsea Ballerini (“Peter Pan”) and Brett Young’s three-week No. 1 (“Like I Loved You”), as well as releases on Keith Urban, Straight No Chaser and more. “Peter Pan” earned her the coveted peer-voted “10 Songs I Wish I’d Written” award at the Nashville Songwriter’s Hall Of Fame Gala in 2017.

 
Chris DeStefano Launches New Publishing Venture WinSongs Music

Hit songwriter/producer Chris DeStefano has opened a new publishing company, WinSongs Music Publishing. Joining WinSongs as the company’s new Creative Director is Kirby Smith.

DeStefano is a Grammy-winning songwriter and producer with 16 No. 1 songs to his credit. Smith, a Houston native, was previously Creative Coordinator at Play it Again.

The company’s first signing is Chase Fouraker, a Jacksonville, Florida native with a genre-bending, rhythmic-meets-pop country sound.

 
Ryan Griffin Inks Deal With Warner Music Nashville, Altadena

Warner Music Nashville and busbee’s Altadena have co-signed newcomer Ryan Griffin. His busbee-produced blend of country and soul is demonstrated on previously-released tracks “Good Company,” “Play It By Heart” and “Best Cold Beer,” the latter of which SiriusXM The Highway featured as part of their influential “On the Horizon” show.

As a songwriter, Griffin penned Kelsea Ballerini’s 2016 Platinum-certified No. 1 hit “Dibs.”

 

David DeVaul Joins Reviver Records

Reviver Records has signed David DeVaul to its roster. The former American Idol contestant has recently penned songs for Josh Gracin, Aaron Goodvin, and collaborated with producer OHKI to create a country/hip-hop flavored EP titled Dixieland, available now. David has been cutting his teeth as a member of Reviver Publishing, experimenting with different genres like country, pop, soul, & hip-hop, and is excited to further his already blossoming career.

Hailing from the small farm town of Britt, Iowa, DeVaul was drawn to music at a very early age, leaning towards both rap and country music for the multitude of stories they tell. David honed his craft while working a number of odd jobs to help support his musical career, and wrote songs for Red Marlow from The Voice and Rayvon Owens from American Idol. David also serves on the board of 4:13 Strong – a non-profit organization dedicated to helping disenfranchised men get back on their feet by providing educational, vocational and life-skill training to help them serve productive and rewarding lives.

 

Josh Gracin Partners With Reviver Records

Josh Gracin has compiled a new team to help support his independent label Revel Road Records that includes Reviver Records’ marketing and promotion staff, 117 Management for management and public relations, and the Kinkead Entertainment Agency, who will continue to exclusively represent Gracin worldwide.

Gracin has had several hits at radio including “I Want To Live,” the chart-topper “Nothin’ To Lose,” “Stay With Me (Brass Bed),” and “We Weren’t Crazy,” and is releasing a new single, “Good For You” that impacts country radio on Nov. 5.

 

Keith Gale’s Good Company Adds Promo Staff For Partnership With RECORDS

Keith Gale‘s Good Company Entertainment has added a promotion staff after forming a strategic partnership with industry veteran Barry Weiss’ record label, RECORDS to help push its flagship artist Matt Stell to country radio and beyond.

Stell is an Arkansas native, currently promoting, “Prayed For You,” the first single from his forthcoming EP. He is managed by Wide Open Music President Ash Bowers and signed to UTA.
