Kassi Ashton Inks Joint Deal With Interscope/UMG Nashville

Kassi Ashton has signed with UMG Nashville in conjunction with Interscope Records. The California, Missouri native is currently working on new music expected in early 2018, and MCA Nashville will be servicing her single to country radio.

Kassi Ashton is represented by Creative Nation for both management and publishing.

 
Tyler Rich Signs Label, Publishing Deals With Valory, Big Machine Music

Big Machine Music and The Valory Music Co. have signed Tyler Rich to both publishing and recording deals. The California native began working with the label group early in 2017, and is on the road with Dustin Lynch’s The Ride or Die Tour.

Tyler is managed by L3 Entertainment in Nashville.

 
Centricity Music Signs Caitie Hurst To Recording, Publishing Deals

Franklin, Tennessee-based label and publisher Centricity Music has inked recording and publishing deals with newcomer Caitie Hurst.

The Hendersonville, Tennessee native got her start singing worship music at her church, Long Hollow Baptist and later attended Liberty University.

Hurst is working on new music for her upcoming debut project, set to release next year.

Centricity Music is home to artists including Lauren Daigle, Aaron Shust, Andrew Peterson, For All Seasons, Jordan Feliz, and more.

 

Ruby Joy Ketchum Signs With BMI

Ruby Joy Ketchum, daughter of award-winning singer/songwriter Hal Ketchum and celebrity stylist Gina Ketchum, has signed with BMI for exclusive representation.

Two of Ketchum’s original songs will be featured in the soundtrack of a Disney feature film being released in early 2019 (title not yet released), and she will travel to Ireland in the New Year to work with fellow writers on an upcoming BBC-TV program. Ketchum will also release new music and debut her Youtube channel in early 2018.

 
Capitol Christian Music Group Signs Riley Clemmons

Riley Clemmons, an 18-year-old Nashville-based pop singer-songwriter, is the newest signee of Capitol Christian Music Group (CCMG), joining a roster that includes Chris Tomlin, Amy Grant, Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, and more.

Clemmons has been working with Emily Weisband (Hillary Scott) and Josh Kerr (Kelsea Ballerini, Danielle Bradbery) alongside Grammy-acclaimed producers Ben Glover (for KING & COUNTRY, Mandisa) and Tedd T (for KING & COUNTRY, Stacie Orrico) for her inaugural collection of music, which includes the debut single “Broken Prayers.”

After spending much of November and December visiting radio markets in advance of the release, including the K-LOVE Christmas Banquet, the honest single is set to impact radio on Jan. 12. SiriusXM exclusively premiered the music video for “Broken Prayers” on Dec. 7 as a part of their “Hear & Now” Music Blog.
